Thomas Cook Airlines select Aerobytes FDM / FOQA software

Aerobytes is delighted to announce that Thomas Cook Airlines UK Ltd has chosen Aerobytes FDM software for its future FDM requirements.

Thomas Cook operates a fleet of 24 B757s, A320s and A330s and is based at Manchester, UK.

Following a demonstration of the Aerobytes software in 2005 Thomas Cook has been running Aerobytes in parallel with their existing system, Sagem's AGS, to compare the two. After using Aerobytes for a couple of months Donal Foley, Director of Flight Operations said,

"Aerobytes offers considerable advantages over our previous system in terms of ease of use, automation and all round functionality. There is a wealth of features we can employ to make our FDM program easier to manage and more effective."

"We particularly like the ability to view flight data in different ways without having to configure anything first. Investigations are now very quick and much simpler to conduct than before. The tools available to track and monitor corrective actions will make auditing of our program much easier"

"I feel our FDM program has taken a significant step forward by choosing Aerobytes software and we have been very well supported during it's introduction"

Thomas Cook received training and installation at their headquarters at Manchester Airport in August 2005.
