Aerobytes
exhibited at CASS (Corporate Aviation Safety Seminar) in Phoenix where Kevin Martin, Sales Manager commented that the "corporate operators showed a lot more interest than in
previous years. Aerobytes currently has a high
percentage of corporate users as the software is
easy to use by someone who only has only a few
hours a week." One of the presentations about
FOQA gave the impression that operators need to
have many flights before FOQA can detect trends
and is therefore not worthwhile. While statistical
variation does make trends more difficult to spot
it ignores the point that many operators use FOQA
data to change there operation even if there is
not a trend. FOQA data lets them know where they
are even with statistical variations.
