Oct 2007 For many years operators have wanted to integrate their safety data. For the first time a commercially available system has been demonstrated. Aerobytes started a project with Superstructure, supplier of AQD (SMS software) earlier this year. At the IASS conference in Seoul Aerobytes and Superstructure invited safety experts from aircraft operators around the world to see a live demonstration of the software.

Best Air is a new Turkish operator with two A321s. After initially making contact in late July 2007 a system was configured and installed and training conducted in Turkey in August 2007. A very quick turnaround and another successful installation. Sercin Ozen on behalf of Best Air commented “Aerobytes provided quick responses, were able to answer our questions and delivered on time. Aerobytes exhibits at Flight Safety Foundation's International Safety Seminar in Paris attended by airlines and regulatory bodies from all
over the world. There was much interest in the built in tools to log
remedial or corrective actions and display them in time on statistical
reports to view their effect. Despite FDM / FOQA being a continuous improvement process Aerobytes remains the only FDM/FOQA software to have this feature!

July 2006 Jetran Air start to monitor MD80 fleet using Aerobytes FDM/FOQA software.
July 2006 Aerobytes software gets demonstrated to attendees at the Cranfield FDM course. Airlines from Asia, Australia, Europe and USA including British Airways, Delta, Emirates and Virgin Atlantic were there. 
The delegates were able to see how Aerobytes FDM manages the  quality control loop to allow FDM/FOQA users to demonstrate the effect of their actions on their statistics.

May 2006 Aerobytes exhibited at CASS (Corporate Aviation Safety Seminar) in Phoenix where Kevin Martin, Sales Manager commented that the "corporate operators showed a lot more interest than in previous  years. Aerobytes currently has a high percentage of corporate users as the software is easy to use by someone who only has only a few hours a week." One of the presentations about FOQA gave the impression that operators need to have many flights before FOQA can detect trends and is therefore not worthwhile. While statistical variation does make trends more difficult to spot it ignores the point that many operators use FOQA data to change there operation even if there is not a trend. FOQA data lets them know where they are even with statistical variations.

Feb 2006 Aerobytes help specify FDM requirements for the Vulcan Bomber
currently being restored at Bruntingthorpe, UK. The Aerobytes
software will be used primarily to monitor the engines and provide
data to justify extending their life if appropriate. The Vulcan should
fly towards the end of 2006.
